Why Study our Environment?

Humans are now faced with environmental issues on a global scale never seen before.

It will take all of our best minds, effort, and political will to make some changes at how we go about living our lives. Now more than ever, environmental science requires the collaborative effort of scientists in many fields to understand the complexities of our environment so that we can create a sustainable environment for our growing population.

This course looks at the diversity of energy types, the environmental impacts and where the trends are headed.

To offset our bad habits, we outline some of the exciting innovations that aim to solve some of our most pressing issues.

This comprehensive introductory course by Dr. Mike Kozuch and Dr. Gita Dunhill will help every student gain an overview of this fascinating field in a clear and structured format.
